Well what can we say? A huge thank you to the thousands of you that made the 14th Rockabilly Rave the best rockin party on the planet! Every room and apartment on the site was Sold Out and completely crammed full, for four days of nonstop rockabilly heaven. The best rockin bands and DJs and the friendliest rockin crowd, all enjoying themselves in that unique Rave atmosphere, with the site being completely taken over by the rockin scene and renamed, Rockabillyland!
With so many highlights it’s impossible to pick out just a few examples... but many of you have written in with such a passion about what you enjoyed most, the things that made you laugh, the music that was so beautiful it made you want to cry... the booze and the boppin that left wheezy fat boys at the side of the dance floor... the many new youngsters on the scene, effortlessly dancing through the night...
The Rave means so much to so many people around the world. We share it as a scene, we understand the passion that we all have and respect that, but are ready to have the best and funniest of times when we get together. Many people have said that it just doesn’t get any better than this. I have lost count of the people who said, that on Monday they get really sad at leaving and just want to stay and do it all over again!!!
